Every new change in your skin deserves attention
I am Aygun Mustafayeva, an aesthetic dermatologist, dermatovenereologist and trichologist. In aesthetics I prefer carefully planned procedures that keep your face looking natural. I check moles with dermoscopy, remove warts and skin growths, treat shingles, fungal infections and eczema, and find the cause of hair loss with trichoscopy.

Coming early makes treatment easier
With shingles the first 72 hours matter, with a mole the first change does. So I always tell my patients the same thing: if something has changed in your skin, do not wait and do not treat it yourself at home. Let us examine it, find the cause and make a calm, step-by-step plan.

How I work
- Examination and dermoscopy first, then a decision
- A medical procedure instead of squeezing, cutting or burning at home
- Individual assessment and step-by-step treatment
- Natural results and a measured approach in aesthetics

Check your mole in 7 questions
This check is based on the weighted 7-point checklist that doctors use to pick out a suspicious mole. Think of one mole that worries you and answer each question looking at it.
Your answers are calculated only in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored.
Question 1 of 7
You chose no warning signs
Based on your answers, this mole has none of the signs on the 7-point checklist. Keep checking your skin in the mirror once a month, and come for an examination if the mole changes or a new one appears.
Have the mole checked with dermoscopy
You chose one major or one or two minor signs. This does not mean cancer, but it is worth looking at the mole with a dermatoscope and following any change. Book a routine visit and take a photo of the mole now so we can compare later.
See a dermatologist without delay
Your score is 3 or more. In UK clinical guidance (NICE), this threshold means the mole should be checked by a dermatologist promptly. This is not a diagnosis: most such moles turn out to be benign after an examination, but it is important not to lose time.
7-point checklist scale
- 0 points
- 1-2 points
- 3 points or more
This check is for one mole. A mole that looks different from all your other moles also deserves attention. A “Not sure” answer is counted as “Yes” to be on the safe side.

The test does not make a diagnosis and does not replace an examination by a doctor. If a mole changes quickly, bleeds or forms a sore, come for an examination whatever the result.

News
Autumn and winter: a good time to have your moles checked
Autumn is a convenient time to assess changes in moles after the summer sun: the skin has calmed down and the tan has faded. At your visit I examine your moles with a dermatoscope, single out those that change or look different from the rest, and if needed we make a follow-up plan together.

Frequently asked questions
The questions I am asked most often in Instagram comments and at appointments. I can only give an exact answer about your skin after an examination.
What do you specialise in?
I am an aesthetic dermatologist, dermatovenereologist and trichologist and have worked as a doctor since 2005. I examine and treat diseases of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes, skin infections and sexually transmitted infections. Dermoscopy of moles, removal of skin growths, trichology, botulinum toxin, fillers, peels and mesotherapy are also part of my work.
Which clinics do you work at?
At two clinics in Baku: Olimp Hospital (Yasamal district, 8-10 Inshaatchilar Avenue) and Chohre Estetik (Khatai district, 84a Khojaly Avenue). We confirm which day I am where when you write on WhatsApp, so please always agree on a time before coming.
How do I book an appointment?
Choose a visit type on the site and WhatsApp opens with a ready message. Add the clinic (Olimp Hospital or Chohre Estetik) and a day that suits you, and we agree on the time together. Appointments are only by prior arrangement.
How can I contact you?
The easiest way is WhatsApp: the WhatsApp buttons on this site open the chat directly. Write your question and I will reply as soon as I can. An accurate diagnosis, however, is only possible after an examination.
How much do consultations and procedures cost?
The price depends on the examination, the number and size of growths and the chosen method. Treating one wart is not the same as treating dozens. You can ask for current prices on WhatsApp; the exact plan becomes clear after the examination.
What happens at the first visit?
I ask about your concern, when it started and which products you use. I examine the skin by eye and, if needed, with a dermatoscope. At the end I explain the diagnosis, the treatment and what you should and should not do at home.
When should I have my moles checked?
Without delay if a mole grows, changes shape or colour, bleeds, itches or looks different from your other moles. If you have many moles, a family history of melanoma or skin that burns easily, we decide together how often to check. At home, look at your skin in the mirror once a month.
Does cryotherapy hurt?
When liquid nitrogen is applied there is a short, cold burning feeling; anaesthesia and cutting are usually not needed. Afterwards the area may turn red and blister, which is normal and usually heals in one to two weeks. Some cases, such as plantar warts, need several sessions.
My shingles has gone but the pain remains. Is that normal?
Pain that lasts more than three months after the rash has healed is called postherpetic neuralgia and is more common with age. You do not have to put up with it: there are specific treatments that reduce it. Come in so we can assess it and choose treatment together.
My teenage daughter has a lot of spots on her face. When should we see a doctor?
Do not wait if the spots are numerous, painful, leave marks or affect her mood. Teenage acne is a treatable condition, and treatment started early helps prevent scars. Squeezing and applying toothpaste or alcohol at home make it worse.
How long does botulinum toxin last?
For expression lines the effect usually starts within a few days and lasts about 3-4 months on average. The duration depends on the dose, the strength of the muscle and the person. My aim is to soften lines while keeping your natural expressions.
How are my photos and data protected?
The site has no forms, and booking happens on WhatsApp. I use photos of your skin and your medical information only for treatment and never share them anywhere without your written consent.
