PRP and Dermapen

PRP is the injection of platelet-rich plasma, taken from your own blood, into the skin or scalp. Dermapen is a device that opens controlled micro-channels in the skin with very fine needles and stimulates the skin’s own repair processes.
When I use them
- Depressed acne scars and uneven skin texture
- Enlarged pores
- As an add-on to main treatment in some forms of hair loss
- Improving overall skin quality
What you should know
- Results come gradually over a course; one session is not enough
- Dermapen is done only with a sterile, single-use tip
- The procedure is postponed if there is active acne, herpes or a skin infection
- Redness may last a few days afterwards, and sun protection is essential
